Young Reader

Reading

As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed reading. I have a wide range of subjects that I choose from for reading: travel, biographies, novels.

Some of my favourite authors are:

You might like to see most of the books I've read since 1977. They are organised by authors. The books I've not entered into this list are my text books from my University studies.

Reader's Digest supply me with a lot of my reading materials: from the monthly magazine to the Condensed Books, which give me a wider range of authors that I might otherwise not read, and for a while their collection of condensed books called "Today's Best Non-fiction".

Other reading, very occasionally, is magazines - music, womens', computer, etc. Did I forget something? No, there are newspapers as well, both major and local papers. And last but certainly not least, but regular is the Holy Bible.

Besides the information on authors and books, I have for you a couple of news headlines for "Publishing" and "Oddly Enough" from Reuters.

Until quite recently I was preparing to put online a book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading - a very old book about Felix Mendelssohn. I had searched quite widely for it to see if it was available anywhere. Then I got to the Alibris site and was able to purchase the book for a very reasonable price. I have in fact purchased two books. So I have decided to put links throughout my pages so that you can find books you would like to purchase for yourself. They say "Find the books thought you'd never find"
